2009 Bacigalupi Vineyard, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir
The 2009 L’Objet Noir, Pinot Noir is from the well known Bacicalupi Vineyard located in the storied Russian River Valley. This region is one of the most famous areas for growing Pinot Noir in the world.
The aromas in the wine range from deep raspberry, bright cherries, ripe rhubarb to notes of cola, Christmas spices, vanilla, lavander and earthiness. The palate is full of a balance of raspberry, cherry, mushroom, with hints of spices, chocolate and a touch of cedar. The mouth feel is extremely soft and velvety with a smooth acid backbone to carry it through the finish.
